What is Culture Shock?

When we travel and visit another culture, our behavior rules and familiar environment are suddenly modified. Therefore, it's common to experience emotional perturbance, as some confusion. Feeling endangered in our social identity is also a common emotion. This is know as Culture Shock.

Culture Shock is an unavoidable and unwaivable process experienced by international students. it describes the impact of moving from a familiar culture to an unfamiliar one.
Since it is accompanied by a variety of psychological frustrations, it has become an important topic for emotional health experts.
This process has 6 different stages:
Honeymoon
The fall
Learning to walk again
Juggling
Walking and Juggling
Culture Chock reverse
Understanding the process of Culture shock, as the impact it has on you, will allow you the development of strategies to address and overcome not only personally but also interpersonal relationships.
